• Job Details
• Epic experience REQUIRED
• The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region.
• Respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, surgical complications, include some of our top DRGs.
• Must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS, and advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols.
• Antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, a line, cvp, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols. HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent.
• Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to do well in our area.
• Average patient load is 3 high acuity patients.
