RNs with experience in a Level I trauma center tend to excel in this team. Experience floating to a variety of ICUs is highly desired. Must be comfortable and competent in caring for ICU patients in neuro/trauma, medical, surgical, progressive critical care, and emergency environments. ICU experience in postoperative care settings is also beneficial.
