Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule:
--- Shift Time: 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM
--- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
--- Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays
Compensation and Benefits:
--- Weekly Gross: $2,457.00 Per Week
--- On W2(Taxable): $756.00 Per Week ($21/hour)
--- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,701.00 Per Week
Position Overview:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Travel RN - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) to join their team for
a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in
PACU nursing, be flexible, and be capable of managing patients
post-surgery in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
--- Provide patient care in the PACU, ensuring patients are
monitored and recovering properly after surgical procedures.
--- Administer medications, manage pain, and monitor vital
signs.
--- Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and
other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of
patient care.
--- Rotate shifts and work weekends/holidays as required by the
department.
--- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hospital
policies and regulations.
--- Epic experience required.
Position Requirements:
--- Licensure: Active RN license in New York or eligible for
licensure.
--- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
required.
--- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in PACU.
--- Skills: Must be proficient in PACU care, post-operative
monitoring, and patient recovery.
Additional Information:
--- No on-call required.
--- The position will be required to float to other units if
needed.
--- Parking Location: On-site parking available at the
facility.
