Home Health Aide Opportunity at CareConnectAbout the RoleWe are seeking a certified Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Aide with CareConnect, you will be at the heart of our clients' care, delivering personalized support that enables them to live safely and independently.Duties

• Personal Care - Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure our clients maintain their dignity and comfort.
• Mobility and Transfers - Safely assist clients with mobility and transfers, preventing falls and ensuring their well-being.
• Medication Administration - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Vital Sign Monitoring - Monitor clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel, ensuring timely interventions.
• Companionship and Support - Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and their families, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
• Environmental Maintenance - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, promoting their overall well-being and comfort.Qualifications
  • Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
