• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered Upon Hire
• New York State registration or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York Upon Hire
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified upon hire required.

  • The Medical Imaging Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of the patients.
  • Utilizes specific modality to create diagnostic images and provide patients with a safe positive experience.
  • Practices and enforces radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16.
    • Job Requirements
    • Associate degree Applied Science Degree - required.
    • Diploma in X-Ray - required.
    • Vocational School Diploma Graduate of an approved professional academic imaging program - required.
    • Previous experience helpful - preferred.
    • Maintains competent imaging skills in practicing modality/s.
    • Practices in compliance with Hospital/department policy as well as New York state and accrediting agency's standards.
    • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age and special characteristics of the patient.

      • 3-12hr shifts
      • Sun/Mon/Tues
      • 7pm-730am
      • No on call responsibilities
