Job Description:

A company is looking for a PDF Remediation Specialist to enhance digital accessibility for various users.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize accessibility tools to ensure business documents are compliant and user-friendly
Advise on document design and development to align with communication intent
Collaborate with stakeholders and advocate for users while staying updated on industry trends

Required Qualifications

Associate's Degree or higher in IT or Business-related discipline, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience
Alternatively, six years of related work experience in technical tool administration
Familiarity with WCAG and US disability laws
Experience using accessibility testing tools such as PDF Accessibility Checker and Equidox
Expert level skill in using screen readers like JAWS and NVDA
