Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Title Underwriter for our client located in Albany, NY. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary and generous compensation package!

The ideal candidates will have previous title agency or law firm experience, possess strong customer service and analytical skills, be a motivated self-starter, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Read abstracts of title, analyze potential title defects and prepare title reports.
Ability to attend closings to accept title documents
E-recording title documents with the county clerk's offices, while possessing excellent writing and organizational skills.
Experience with local real estate closing procedures, reading and understanding closing disclosures, bank and title documents.
Possess a strong working knowledge of SoftPro Select
Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information, meet deadlines and produce high quality work products.


Qualifications and Experience:
3+ years' experience in New York title insurance business. Previous title agency or law office experience required.
Notary public is ideal (not required)
Familiarity with SoftPro Select is essential.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook & General office and computer experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly an apply acquired skills to complete projects independently.


Salary:
$52,000-$60,000
