Description

This role will perform survey field work involving boundary, topographic, construction, and other types of surveys.Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various surveying instruments such as Data Collectors, Total Stations, Robotic Total Stations, GPS, 3D Laser Scanners, drones, and other equipment to perform survey measurements.
• Perform mathematical calculations to establish and locate reference points, property corners, vertical and horizontal reference points, and line staking for construction projects.
• Interpret maps, plats, plans, and specifications.
• Clear survey areas, locate markers, set pins, benchmarks and monuments, and other survey tasks.Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  
  Requirements
  
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain training certifications as needed.
  • Must be willing to work out of town within approximately three (3) hours of the Albany area (paid travel and per-diem).
  • Ability to comfortably lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds of equipment and walk several feet.
  • Previous experience in Survey or a related field is preferred.EOE, including disability/veterans.
