Location: Latham, NY, US 12110Job Type: Full TimeJob Classification: HourlyExemption Type: Non-ExemptEducation: High School Diploma / GEDTravel: Up to 100%DescriptionThis role will perform survey field work involving boundary, topographic, construction, and other types of surveys.Primary Responsibilities:Operate and maintain various surveying instruments such as Data Collectors, Total Stations, Robotic Total Stations, GPS, 3D Laser Scanners, drones, and other equipment to perform survey measurements.Perform mathematical calculations to establish and locate reference points, property corners, vertical and horizontal reference points, and line staking for construction projects.Interpret maps, plats, plans, and specifications.Clear survey areas, locate markers, set pins, benchmarks and monuments, and other survey tasks.Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Ability to obtain training certifications as needed.Must be willing to work out of town within approximately three (3) hours of the Albany area (paid travel and per-diem).Ability to comfortably lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds of equipment and walk several feet.Previous experience in Survey or a related field is preferred.EOE, including disability/veterans.
