ASSISTANT PUBLIC DEFENDER

Full Time
The Columbia County Public Defender's Office is seeking full time
(35+ hours a week) Assistant Public Defenders for Criminal and
Family Court. Must be admitted to the bar of the State of New York
at the time of appointment and must have at least one year of
experience. Strong writing skills and working knowledge of the
Criminal Procedure Law and Penal Law, general court practice as
well as some courtroom experience required.
Starting salary $84,000 - $116,000, depending on experience, with
benefits. EOE.
