What You'll Do:
Assist in the electrical design process for new building systems and renovation projects, including NEC load calculations, service/feeder/branch panel design, generator sizing, and lighting design (including photometric studies).
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure a fully integrated design.
Support PV solar and other renewable energy designs including high voltage DC, low voltage AC, and medium voltage AC.
Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operations of existing systems.
Utilize computer aided design technologies and modeling software to develop designs, sketches, drawings, and construction documents (AutoCAD and Revit).
Apply engineering software for electrical design and evaluations.
Support project managers with scheduling, budget tracking, and overall project execution.
Assist with performance studies, which may include site work and data collection.

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Engineer in Training (E.I.T) certificate.
Four plus (4+) years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or a related field.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and strong technical skills.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:
New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) or actively pursuing it.
Experience with Revit and engineering software such as SKM, EasyPower, O-Calc Pro, PLSCADD, E-TAP, or Visual Studio.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
