Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work for a well-established manufacturing organization in the Capital Region, NY. This is an in-office position.



The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, test and optimize the manufacturing and installation of instrumentation and controls, components or systems for commercial use while interfacing with the engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control system design (hardware/software/network), electrical panel design and power calculations, risk assessment, component selection and configuration, control system programming and control system installation and commissioning.



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, instrumentation engineering or a related field.
Master's Degree and/or registered PE in NYS is a plus!
5+ years of relevant experience (hands-on with instrumentation, controls and low voltage power).
Experience developing electrical schematics, electrical interconnect & cabling interconnect diagrams.
Experience Designing electric heater SCR control panels (including mechanical layout of equipment within)
Experience Designing PLC Systems and programming per project specs.
Experience Designing electrical junction box mechanical layout.
Experience with codes and standards including ASME Section IX, ASME Section VIII, Zone2 hazardous areas (UL/FM, ATEX, IECEx)
Hazardous Location Design experience is a MUST (Gas Groups B, C, D)
Experience with Auxiliary Power Generations systems, ASME Section III and NavSea a Plus!

SALARY RANGE

$75k-$125k (based on experience & credentials)
